My name is Angelo.
I founded Regal in 2014, originally as Regal Barbers, after spending over two decades in Vancouver’s hospitality industry as a restaurant owner. While the barbering world was new to me, the philosophy was not. Great businesses are built on experience, service, and how people feel when they walk through the door.
As Regal grew, it became clear that it needed to be more than a barbershop. By listening closely to our clients and our team, a vision took shape: a welcoming space with a lounge atmosphere, thoughtful design, and a membership experience that put people first. In 2017, that vision became Regal Grooming Lounge.
Today, Regal continues to evolve through listening, refinement, and care. I’m fortunate to build this alongside my wife, the love of my life, working together every day, sharing the same values, and shaping a space we’re proud to welcome people into.
Regal was built on experience. The people will always guide where we go next.

Hi everyone, I’m Ju
I’m the manager of Regal Grooming Lounge. I keep the shop running smoothly, support our team, and make sure every client feels genuinely welcome the moment they walk through the door.
I’m originally from Brazil and come from a background in education, so clear communication, patience, empathy and kindness are at the core of how I lead. When I found the barbering industry, I knew I’d found the perfect balance between creativity, structure, and real human connection.
I’m incredibly blessed to work alongside my husband -Angelo, my truest love. We spend our days together doing work we care deeply about. And when we’re not at the shop, you’ll probably find us out on long walks, stopping for cafés, finding cute things for our home, cheering loudly at our son’s basketball games (go Panthers!!), and simply enjoying every second together.
I believe loving what you do and who you do life with makes all the difference, and I try to bring that same warmth, care, and intention into everything I do here.

I moved to Vancouver for my Family and smuggled in some Brazilian barber energy with me. The North American haircut scene needed a little spice, and I don’t cook bland.
I became a Canadian citizen through hard work, sacrifice, and a lot of faith. This is home for my family now. But trust me: the cuts still come with that Brazilian heat.
I started barbering in 2015 after leaving accounting. Turns out staring at spreadsheets all day wasn’t it. I needed movement. Conversation. Energy. I traded numbers for neck tapers and never looked back.
I cut all men’s styles — from “corporate assassin” clean to “weekend trouble” textured. Fades hit smooth. Scissor work flows. And beards? That’s sacred work. Lines crisp enough to argue with. Balance so clean it should come with a warning label.
A haircut isn’t just maintenance. It’s armor.
You don’t just walk out looking good, you walk out feeling dangerous.

Hi, my name is Bryan.
I’ve been cutting hair for over a decade. I started my career back home in the Philippines as a Hairstylist to celebrities, influencers and socialites and then started to bring out the dashing dapper in men. I like to say that I inject passion and creativity into every masterpiece I create. Through my versatile experience, I adopted valuable skills set and techniques to craft hairstyles that play to each individual’s unique needs.
When I’m not working at the shop, I enjoy exploring tourist sites and searching for hidden food gems here on the lower mainland with my family. I also love exploring British Columbia through hiking, trail running and cycling.

I have been a barber since 2011. I started cutting hair in my parents’ barbershop in Mexico, where I learned the craft the old-school way and spent over a decade perfecting my skills. Since moving to Vancouver in 2020, I’ve specialized in detailed haircuts and beard work for all lengths, textures, fades, and styles. When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll probably find me singing, climbing, or learning something new.

With a career spanning 16 years, I began my journey as a hairdresser in Mexico before transitioning into specialized barbering 6 years ago. I am highly skilled with all hair types, but my true expertise lies in precision scissor work—whether short, medium, or long. That said, I’m a fan of the craft; a clean skin fade is always a highlight of my day. Outside the shop, I’m a dedicated family man, spending my time with my two boys and exploring new culinary destinations.

I combine strong leadership with a passion for customer experience, focusing on creating a smooth, welcoming, and high-quality service environment for both clients and staff.
I’m originally from Colombia and have over six years of experience in the customer service industry, which has shaped my love for connecting with people and making every guest feel at home.

My name is Jairton Alencar, or you can call me Jay, I’m originally from the northeast of Brazil. I’ve been in the hair industry since 2018. I have spent four years living in Lisbon/Portugal perfecting my skills.
My work, be it a fade, beard shaping or a medium/long hair, is filled with a roster of techniques combined with a modern and traditional approach to hair cutting. As you know, anything is possible with the right tools.
When off work, I spend a lot of time with my beautiful wife and daughter, visiting new places and friends!

I’ve been a barber since 2018, and I proudly offer high-end haircuts, detailed beard trims, facials, eyebrow waxing: the full grooming experience. My focus is simple: helping you feel confident and comfortable while we build a style that actually suits you.
I’m a big believer in teamwork and good energy. When everyone supports each other, the whole shop flows better, and that’s something I really care about. I do my best to look after everyone who walks through the door, clients and teammates alike.
I’m known for having a big heart, a good sense of humor, and a serious love for metal and rock music. In my chair, you’ll find someone who listens, takes his time, and genuinely wants you to leave feeling taken care of.

Hey there! I’m Farley Santiago, a Brazilian barber since 2017. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with a wide range of styles, but I’m especially known for classic scissor cuts, where precision, shape, and detail make all the difference.
Alongside my work in the barbershop, I’m also dedicated to barber education. I run an online academy and a YouTube channel with more than 280,000 subscribers, sharing techniques, insights, and real-world knowledge with barbers worldwide. Teaching has become a natural extension of my work.
Outside of barbering, I value time with my family and enjoy Vancouver’s parks, where I recharge and find inspiration in the city’s natural beauty.

Hello! I have been an amateur barber since 2013, but I started making a living as a barber in 2016. Throughout this journey, I have learned that working with hair and beards goes far beyond aesthetics. It is about identity, confidence, and care. Every client who sits in my chair brings a story, and it is with respect and sensitivity that I seek to translate that into every cut, every detail, and every finish.
I was born in 1989, some say it was one of the best “vintages” (LOL)! I am married, and we are living one of the most special phases of our lives: waiting for our first child, who will arrive in May 2026. This new chapter has brought me even more purpose, responsibility, and love for what I do. Today, I see my profession not only as a craft, but as a mission: to care for people, boost their self-esteem, and deliver memorable experiences.
Over the years, I have developed technique, aesthetic vision, and sensitivity to understand the nature of each hair and beard, whether short, long, straight, or wavy, always respecting the style, personality, and image that each client wishes to convey.
Here at Regal Grooming Lounge, I hope to offer not only technical excellence, but also a welcoming, humane, and trustworthy environment where everyone feels at home. It will be a pleasure to welcome you and be part of your story too.

I am deeply passionate about customer service and believe that true luxury lives in the small details and how people feel from the moment they walk through our doors.
