Membership Rewards Program

RGL Membership (Rewards Program) is for the man who needs a razor-sharp look every day.  If you are fine with one cut every three to four weeks, the program is probably not for you.  Members get unlimited access for one flat monthly fee.  We offer two programs- Elite and Regal.

1. ELITE Program (no beard)

(includes)

  • Unlimited precision haircuts, shampoos, and styles
  • 10% Discount on all other services and products

(Included is a beverage of choice- Scotch, Beer, Latte, Sparkling Water…etc. and complimentary access to the Cologne Bar and Shoe Buffing station)

COST

  • $69/month
  • $759/year (pay for 11 months get one month free)

2. REGAL Program (beard)

(includes)

  • Unlimited precision haircuts, shampoos, and styles
  • Unlimited beard shaping & trimming
  • 10% Discount on all other services and products

(Included is a beverage of choice- Scotch, Beer, Latte, Sparkling Water…etc. and complimentary access to the Cologne Bar and Shoe Buffing station)

COST

  • $89/month
  • $979/year (pay for 11 months get one month free)

ADMINISTRATION FEE

  • A one-time administration fee of $50 is charged to new members
  • Members who do not renew on time (expired memberships) are charged the $50 administration fees to be re-activated OR may have to go on the WAIT LIST if the membership is at capacity
  • Subscription must be paid prior to booking an appointment in order to receive program privileges

ACTIVATION

We require member’s first and last name, phone number, and email address to activate a membership. Membership starts on the first booking

RENEWAL

Setting up automatic renewal is a convenient option for everyone.  Renewing in the shop on last appointment before the expiry date is also an option.

LATE ARRIVAL

Time is of the essence in our industry.  A reservation arriving late has a cascading effect on the subsequent bookings.   It is not fair to expect other clients who arrive on time to wait around, be rushed, or worse forced to leave without service (many do because they have other commitments). It is equally unfair to put the reservation staff in the unpleasant position of dealing with irate clients.

A member arriving late will be offered a ‘streamlined’ service to keep the rest of the clients on schedule (will do what we can in the remaining time without making the next appointment wait).  Arriving more than 10 minutes late is considered a no-show.

Booked appointment can be rescheduled or cancelled without penalty up to 6 business hours prior to the appointment time.  RGL business hours are 8-8 Mon-Fri & 10-6 Sat.

NO-SHOWS

No-shows are hugely disruptive for the operation and costly for the business. Unfortunately many members assume not showing up for an appointment is not a big deal.  Unlike a membership in, say a sports gym, a no-show in our business means:

  • Another client who needed the service is deprived of the opportunity
  • A service provider cheated of a possible commission, gratuities, and so on
  • Reservation staff scrambling to re-arranging schedules, breaks, contacting clients…etc.
  • Substantial cost to the business in terms of forgone revenue. Each half hour slot (typical haircut booking) is a potential $40-47 of lost revenue (haircut charge). Even a 10% no-show (extremely conservative nowadays) translates into a six-digit loss per year.  

NO-SHOW CHARGES

A no-show for a scheduled appointment will forfeit one week of the remaining membership time.

MEMBERSHIP ON HOLD

We understand things happen- travel, family, medical…etc.   A member unable to take advantage for his membership for a minimum of one month can request his membership be put on hold for up to three months.  This will ensure the membership stays current and we will be ready and waiting to tame the beast that has grown during the time away.  Members can do this by emailing info@regalgrooming.ca.

MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION

Membership can be cancelled by emailing info@regalgrooming.ca at least 5 business days before the next billing period.

WAIT LIST

In order to keep the program manageable, a cap on the membership is necessary.  We are constrained by the size of our operation and the number of service providers.  Once the cap is reached, interested clients are added to the wait list.   Waiting time will vary based on the number of members renewing.

GRATUITIES

Gratuity is not included in the membership. It is a matter of personal discretion, dependent on the relationship you have with your barber and your level of satisfaction of each service.
